On the February 14th, 2026, Nassau County Office of Asian American Affairs hosted the third Nassau County Chinese New Year Celebration at Tilles Center. The Greater Port Washington Chinese American Association (GPWCAA) participated the celebration and brought Chinese Calligraphy, paper cutting and lantern making to audiences.
Thanks to the Deputy Director of OAAA Mr. Meng Li and Ms. Jing . The celebration event attracted many Nassau residences and had great success.
On Feb 6th, 2026, North Hempstead Town also hosted the 2026 Chinese New Celebration at Yes We Can Community Center.
GPWCAA again participated the event and brough traditional Chinese Calligraphy to audiences.
